Quick and easy invoicing tool, a must for freelancers

(Business Finance) Invoicing on the go is often necessary, but can be a hassle. A new tool can help you send out what you need, quickly without downloading a thing.

Invoicing is an important part of any billing cycle

For freelancers, nothing is more important than having an invoicing tool that works for you. For businesses, there’s nothing more important than having people submit their invoices in a timely, readable manner. While several different platforms offer invoicing tools, finding one that works well for you and your specific needs can be difficult.

Trial and error is often necessary to find a tool that works, but when you need to send an invoice immediately, this tool can come in very handy: Invoice at Once, is an online invoicing template that you can custom and send in just a few minutes.

When a client needs a copy of an invoice, your deadlines get changed, or you just need to send something off before you head out for the day, Invoice at Once, can get it done quickly.

Fully customizable – let’s take a look

Upload your logo and contact information, fill in an itemized account of what you are billing, who the invoice is headed to and you are finished. If you are feeling particularly creative, or want your invoice to match your logo, you can select and customize color palettes.

After filling in all your relevant information, your are ready to send, or download as a .pdf.

Digging deeper, the product has some deficiencies

The only problem I found with the tool, was that if you exceed around fifteen itemized lines, you can no longer see what you are entering. This makes it difficult to ensure what you are entering is accurate and it also makes it difficult to create accurate totals.

If Invoice at Once would add a scroll bar, so you can actively see what you’re adding, and perhaps a drag and drop feature where you can re-organize your entries as needed, it would be absolute perfection. Until then, if you just need a quick, easy way to send out an invoice, it is still a good option.

PayPal, Fresh Books, and Square all offer itemized invoices, which are often more effective because you can ensure they are received and paid, but Invoice at Once is a good option when you’re in a pinch and cannot access your other options.
