The dubious resting place of TARP funds

Where did all that money go?

In case you’ve forgotten, the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) is one of the biggest financial bailouts in history, and yet somehow, the public isn’t acutely aware of where the money went.

For example, in total, members of the Senate Committee on Banking, the Senate Finance Committee, Housing and Urban Affairs, and the House Financial Services Committee received over $5.2 million from TARP recipients in the ’07-’08 election cycle.

Check out this amazing infographic (and click it to enlarge) that shows the resting place of the TARP funds and see what you think (and of course, let us know in comments your thoughts):

What an amazing piece of work…more and more we’re seeing the educational potential of infographics. A good artist with the right data can compress an entire article into a single sheet image. That’s a mighty handy skill to have here in the Empire of ADHD!
