HotPads on the iPad
Today, real estate search site HotPads has launched a real estate search app for the iPad, complete with sale, rent and even hotel listings. The app gets right to the point and asks users to input the top few most common search options.
The app relies on GPS to use your current location or allows you to search other areas, it offers saved searches.
The HotPads iPad app emphasizes sharing options so consumers can share their favorite listings with their social sphere, and emphasizes contacting the listing agent (or property if a rental).
Slick new app
Paul Gleger of HotPads.com says that the app “makes use of the iPad’s larger screen and has a dual screen view, making it really easy to navigate the map while browsing details of a specific listing. Overall it’s a slick new app.”

On a sidenote, some will notice the release of multiple apps today but the coincidence is solely because Apple reviews apps and releases them in batches.
