Stay on top of it
We’ve all sent email reminders before. Those emails starting with “just checking in,” “just following up,” or “just reminding you” are an unfortunately result of our busy work culture.
It can be frustrating to wait days for a response to your email; but on the other hand, it’s hard to keep track of all the emails coming in and out of our inbox. With the new Gmail plugin Remindly, users are automatically prompted to stay in touch with their most important contacts. Foster healthy working relationships by staying on top of critical emails so your correspondents need never send another reminder email.
Key contacts are prioritized
Unlike many other task management systems, Remindly prioritizes communications between users and their most significant associates. The extension keeps users updated on how long it’s been since their last conversation with these key contacts.
The email tool looks through Gmail’s history to identify key contacts based on the number of emails sent and the date of your most recent exchange. Using this information, Remindly rates the contacts then calculates the internal rank, title, and company size for each person based on ratings you supply and its machine learning technology.
Actionable reminders
After establishing ratings for each contact, Remindly prominently displays the most important contacts and any related, actionable emails that require a quick response.
Users will see a box entitled “Remember to Contact” at the top of their Gmail inbox, including a list of these important contacts and their latest email correspondence. The Remindly contact list will automatically organize these emails by the pre-assigned rank assigned to each contact.
Nothing can get past you now!
Whether it’s by writing everything down on a list, marking emails as unread, or using Outlook’s ‘task’ tool, every professional has some system for remembering to respond to emails. Remindly can serve as a useful addition to any personal reminder system, or a complete replacement for your current method. The product is currently still in the beta stage, but interested consumers can join a waiting list to receive information upon release.
When Remindly becomes available, it promises to be a wonderful tool to avoid accidentally neglecting your important co-workers, partners, and customers.
