Yikes! Trulia wasn’t first to the Android tablet, they were second

We recently reported on Trulia’s recent release of their Android tablet app and Trulia proclaimed that they raced across the finish line first, winning the glorious race between real estate search companies. But wait, didn’t HotPads.com release an Android tablet app in April 2011?

Yikes.

Trulia was more than five months late to the finish line, Zillow, Move and Homes.com have yet to approach the finish line. Trulia, Zillow and Realtor.com are the biggest three real estate search companies that come to mind, so of those three, Trulia is first, but HotPads is seeing skyrocketing results with their mobile apps, so don’t count ’em out- they got there first and they’re growing rapidly.
