Did Santa fire his helper elves and his guide Rudolph? According to the new Apple commercial above, he has. Additionally, Santa has to mind his wife’s instructions not to eat too many cookies as Santa is known to do.
Siri, Apple’s voice activated personal assistant, acts as Santa’s new utility to help manage his 3.7 million appointments for the night giving regular users an idea of how effective the app can be, so much so that reindeer and elve’s jobs may be outsourced to Siri.
Kidding aside, Apple’s commercial is a passive message to last minute holiday hosts that Siri can help manage massive amounts of information from directions, weather to naughty and nice lists. Siri is a pivot from generic throw away mobile apps to must have smart utilities that make your smartphone experience even smarter.
