In 2009, BASHH experienced a massive explosion in size, so we teamed up with our friend Stephen Surefire at Launch 787 to make BASHH even awesomer. We ended up selecting a downtown bar (Submerged) based on capacity and setup. Launch 787 sponsored door prizes like concert tickets and spa goodies and Nada Moo set up a table and stuffed faces with organic ice cream.
What we loved about the venue was the layout and specifically the champagne room which seated 8 and we crammed 30 into. Good times. Also, the bathrooms were cool.
What we did NOT love was that the venue was not cleaned prior to our event (it was pretty dirty) and that the owner had the marketing chick walking around asking everyone for their email address (which we asked them specifically not to given that attendees already signed in with their contact info) which confused and angered BASHH attendees. Bleh.
