Code of Conduct

By registering to attend the Big Ass Social Happy Hour (BASHH), you agree to our Code of Conduct as follows:

All guests, sponsors, and volunteers at BASHH are required to adhere to the following code of conduct. We will enforce this code throughout the event and expect cooperation from all participants to help create as safe of an environment as possible.

BASHH is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, political affiliation, or technology choices.

We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate at the venue or on any social networks where guests congregate in advance or afterwards.

Anyone violating these rules may be removed from the venue at our the discretion. All guests are also subject to the venue’s code of conduct.

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments (related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, political affiliations, technology choices), sexual images or statements within the venue, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Guests asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately, and we reserve the right to remove anyone without warning or refund, and potentially file appropriate charges against offenders.

No matter how minor, if you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact an event organizer or venue staff immediately, or return to the sign in table for help.

We cannot guarantee the safety of every guest, and rely on the community to watch out for each other and report suspicious activity.
