Dustin Blanchard, #BASHH friend
Unless he’s dying or has like a hand chopped off, you’ll see Dustin Blanchard at the next #BASHH, he’s been a regular for years. You may know him from his television news days or from his more recent transition to Red Method where he is the Communications Manager and does some front end developing as well. He’s a special blend of geek, hipster, and cool guy, with the above image as proof (and yes, that’s really Willie).
If you don’t know Dustin, connect with him on Twitter at @dblanchard and don’t be shy – just walk up to him at the next event and start chatting. Whether you’re new to #BASHH or you’re a vet, branch out and meet new people, starting with Dustin.
Below, he tells us about his BASHH experience:
Tell us about your first BASHH
It was a #BATHH. I think it might’ve been the ice skating one at Whole Foods, though I’ve been to too many BASHHs since to really remember. I’m still coming, so I guess it went well enough.
What keeps you coming back?
It’s great to see old faces and meet new people, for when I get tired of said old faces. BASHH draws a really interesting, if random cross-section of folks. Green wigs, middle initials. Never a dull moment, or something.
What meaningful connections have you made?
I’ve met friends, lovers, haters, employers, followers and more at BASHH. So there’s that.
