Immersive experience
Music enthusiasts know how important it is to have the best accessories for a good listening experience: the best headphones, the best device, and even the best device holder.
But what if I told you there was another accessory to add to the mix. An accessory that takes listening to music from just another hobby, to a truly immersive and memorable experience. Well there is, and it’s called the Basslet, a new bracelet that changes the way we listen to music.
Feel the music
This device works with your headphones, and lets users feel the bass and depth of music using “proprietary technology and perceptual enhancement”. With this neat technology you can actually feel the music your listening to. This is similar to feeling the music at a club, without the raging headache the next morning.
All you have to do is plug it in with your headphones, and enjoy, which sounds really simple, because it is. Pro’s to this nifty little thing include it’s size, which is very convenient, and wont add any bulk to your phone, it’s discreetness, and ease of use. Con’s include added wires, and one more thing to remember on your way out the door.
The future of wearables
The developers of Basslet have won a handful of awards, and are finalists at the 2016 SXSW Accelerator. I’m hoping after SXSW we get more details on Basslet, I’m definitely interested to see how it charges, it’s durability, who it will be targeted to, and it’s price point.
I can’t wait to see how music “wearables” do in the market, but the first of it’s kinds, Basslet, seam’s to be positively anticipated. SXSW Accelerator is Saturday March 12th , and Sunday March 13th, so we should know more by then. But if you want to receive regular updates, you can head to their website to receive those, along with their launch date. Happy listening!
