Flipagram literally rocks
Everyone loves to share their life experiences with the world, and mostly everyone loves music so why not use it as a marketing tool while also being an avenue to stitch together your own story to clips of your favorite songs. Instead of mundane pics and badly edited video, Flipagram users can now have slick faux-pro montages with the latest hits. Why not?
Working on the maxim: “Music adds emotional detail to a piece.” Flipagram has created a unique way to market the newest popular music to the masses. Flipagram users can create their story, either it be through video, or pictures or broadcast it live to other users, or share them with Facebook, Twitter, and whatever social media outlets they desire.
With artists like Pitbull who already used Flipagram to help launch his newest album “Dale”, and other artists, including Britney Spears, Jessica Alba, Maroon 5 and influencers like Dr. Deepak Chopra on the roster Flipagram is poised to be a heavy hitter in the diverse world of music marketing/mobile photo sharing, and already securing 70 million in stage one capital funding, major investors already are seeing the potential.
All music is licensed, so you can feel safe using these tunes
Licensing agreements with Sony, Warner, Universal, and BMG have also been signed, their bet is that by licensing their artists’ music rights to Flipagram they are already creating new revenue streams for the music industry, and at the same time boosting Flipagram’s advertising base from millions to billions of users.
Flipagram can be used diversely, from cooking tutorials, to mini documentaries on social movements, the possibilities are endless. I think this will be huge with the millennial set, not so much with generation x. The popular music is great, but with so many other revenue streams out there for major artists, they should also allow the little players to get involved too, music is not just defined by the masses, but given also substance from its intrinsic meaning, but in this industry if it don’t make dollars it don’t make sense!
