MailFinch, 2.0 direct mail startup
What Paul Singh started as a joke and a two page website, MailFinch, surprised him the week of the faux launch when he got a real live order to mail one single piece. Virtually over night, the Results Junkie realized that he was going to need a lot more stamps as orders continued to roll in, forcing Paul to escalate capacity to handle not only direct mail for his customers, but to also manage direct auto-responders (monthly repeat mailings and follow ups) for not only single customers, but bulk mailing as well.
A 2.0 approach to direct mail, Paul designed the system to be seamless with managed lists, simple upload and send processes that allow real estate agents, attorneys, insurance agents, and their firms to remain focused on business while MailFinch handles the mailing for them.
The San Francisco based startup is unique in this environment as more and more companies switch to online marketing and advertising and reducing direct mail spends- MailFinch realized that there is still a need to tie both on and offline efforts together but at more reasonable rates than traditional bulk mailing companies that base mailers on bulk printing prices rather than by the cost to mail, creating an affordable solution to the single practitioner.
