Getting real people to promote your brand
Does your company employ brand ambassadors to promote your products? If so, you may want to check out Mobilizr, a new site currently in beta. The site is designed to help connect companies to professional brand ambassadors around the country.
You can search through a catalogue of professionals to find brand ambassadors that match your target customer persona. Ambassadors are rated in several categories, including their social influence and how well they’ve performed in campaigns similar to yours. You can also use the site to create a profile for your marketing campaign, setting goals and pay rates for your ambassadors.
From the site, you can also directly communicate with and supervise the ambassadors through group messaging, pay your ambassadors, check their performance reports, and review analytic statistic about your marketing campaign. You can also receive first-hand feedback from customers who have used your products. Perhaps most helpful of all is that you’ll be connected with in-house marketing expert who can work with you to maximize your campaign.
How much does Mobilizr cost?
Mobilizr is free to try for fourteen days, then after that you’ll need to purchase an account. The accounts allow you to manage an unlimited number of marketing campaigns. The starter account gives you access to hiring 15 ambassadors per month, while the business and enterprise accounts allow you 50 and 100 ambassadors respectively. The accounts are $199, $399, and $599 per month. Paying for a full year in advance gives you a discount dropping the prices to $166, $333, and $499.
Mobilizr is a startup that appears to be looking for investors, but already has some major customers, including Uber and Samsung Electronics. According to the site, “Mobilizr allows Uber to generate fantastic brand awareness among key target audiences during the launch phase of entering new cities.”
It seems that Mobilizr could be a great resource for companies who want to find professional brand ambassadors and track how effectively they are able to market your product.

Sounds and looks like it’s targeted to larger companies, perhaps it can be down scaled to accommodate small & medium businesses with a more attractive price point, there are FAR MANY more of us 🙂
