Chirp consolidates all of those annoying notifications

Efficient task management can be a monumental undertaking

Even with an experienced team working in perfect sync, it is unreasonable to expect optimal productivity when one must extrapolate information from—and add feedback to—multiple forms of media, bulletins, and channels of communication. Switching back and forth from all of the above whilst constantly monitoring them is a task in and of itself; thankfully, a new startup may have the answer to the chaos that is task management.

Chirp is a start-up that consolidates your sites’ notifications into one page, making multiple-app or site visits a thing of the past.

The website refers to it as a “new notification center for you and your team”—a quick, concise, and entirely accurate description—and offers a beta invite below a graphic of the tool in action. Where companies might hire an entirely specialized third party for task management—or, better yet, limit the amount of resources available to meet a deadline—Chirp will sort and prioritize your updates with ease.

Why is it all about the team?

One might notice the use of the word “team” placed strategically in the tagline. Being as Chirp sorts and processes all updates in one collaborative stream, it is without a doubt geared toward small work teams; rather than requiring a social media board that requires links and has to outsource (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, or WordPress), the apps themselves appear within Chirp. This aspect effectively eliminates the “refresh, refresh, refresh” symptoms of the average online bulletin, and thus should prove to be a serious time-saver.

So far, demonstrated apps that are compatible with Chirp include Trello, Zendesk, Salesforce, Stripe, and Github. The potential benefits of having financial information, assignment-based updates, customer relationship management, and many other important tasks consolidated into one stream are endless; efficient use of time, optimal operating capacity, and overall increased productivity will be the end result of incorporating Chirp into your task force routine.
