Drift is looking to change the game with messaging assistance on small business websites. “We launched Drift earlier this Spring. Since April, we’ve had almost 4,000 businesses use Drift,” according to developers.
The concept is simple: use the messaging app to talk to website visitors, convert leads, and, most importantly, keep customers happy. Drift offers a plethora of features that help make the aforementioned component of communication easier to come by.

Drift has seen success rates of conversion rising from the average of two percent to between seven and 20 percent.
Driftbot is designed to help route conversations to the appropriate person, which helps to save time. It is also designed to target users at the exact right moment when they are visiting your page, rather than by use of an email blast. But, emails are captured during the chat so that they can be continued at a later time, if need be.
In-app offers
The software also offers in-app messaging, which helps target customers. These messages can be customized to be sent to the right customer.
In-app surveys are also part of the game, which helps to improve customer satisfaction. You can also send targeted emails to keep in touch with customers.
On-the-go
Drift is also available in iOS so that it can be used on the go (Android is currently being developed.) With the mobile version, you can still assign conversations, manage conversations, and add internal notes.
The software is growing in popularity and can be used in conjunction with Slack, Zapier, WordPress, Segment, MailChimp, and HubSpot.
