Earache My Eye

Ear infections aren’t cool at all.

This week, I’ve been out sick with an ear infection. I used to get them a lot as a child, but they went away much like sucking my thumb. In the past year, they’ve come back with a vengeance that can only be described as cruel. I’ve done what I can to control them, but they come back anyway.

So why am I telling you this? Well, its part excuse and part lesson to be learned. See, right now, the pain medication is kicking in (this one is really painful – apparently, I’ve perforated my ear drum this time around) and to be honest, writing an article for AgentGenius is probably not in my best interest, unless I want to write something that only Ken Brand could appreciate (a reference to the oddity of the text, not the references to pain medication). Of course, while waiting to receive said pain medication, I did get a blog post done today. That’s what I want to talk about.

We all talk about hyper-local and being a source of all local information to make our blogging better and I’ve had some great results from adopting this in my daily blogging. Google “281 super street” and there I am at the #1 spot. I beat out the news stations for this top spot, which I’m pretty proud considering any traffic talk about 281 in San Antonio is huge news.

So today I blogged about my doctor. Dr. Sutton is simply the best doctor I have ever had. Since she’s so great, I thought I’d give her a little screen time on my blog, but there’s an ulterior motive as well. How many people do you think are out there right now googling “doctor in San Antonio” or “best doctor in Shavano Park?” I’m willing to bet there’s a lot of them. I know I’ve googled for doctors (the name of my new game show) many times. So, if I can break the Google page rank system with this post, both Dr. Jennefer Sutton and I can benefit. Not bad, eh? So next time you’ve received great service, found a cool new spot, or just have something in your town that the world might want to know about – blog it. You’ll be happy you did.

His consumer-based outlook on the real estate business has helped him see things from both sides. He is married to a wonderful woman from England who makes him use the word "rubbish."
