Back in 1992, as an undergraduate, we did an ad campaign IDENTICAL TO THAT for a student theatre production that my then girlfriend was directing.
Unless you’re REALLY late with the news, I suspect that it ISN’T NATC’s production of “The Duchess of Malfi”…
… so go on tell me 🙂

This is like standing on main street naked with a sandwich board saying “list with me” They honk and shout it’s coming – but I’m still waiting. Must be the message. .>)

Lani,
Thank you for your book submission.
We at Mark Harrison Inc. have reviewed your story – “The Mouse Story” – and determined that it is, unfortunately, not entirely suitable for our audience.
Our past books (The UK Property Millionaire and Property Negotiation) were aimed at a Property (Real Estate) investment audience.
We feel that even renaming “The Mouse Story” to “The Cautionary Tale Of The Realtor Who Wanted To Be Left Alone” would not be sufficient to interest our readers.
May we suggest a number of options:
1: You could submit your story to a publisher who specialises in Children’s books. If you choose to do this, it may be worth while finding an existing illustrator to depict the mouse (We note from your blog that there are good pictures of the realtor already available for the final page.)
2: You could take this story and others you could write along the same lines, and create a volume such as “Lani’s Bumper Book of Mouse Stories for Girls.”
Again, may I thank you for your submission and wish you luck finding another publisher.
Regards,
Mark Harrison

My math problem was only 1+2 :)~
The chuckle I got from the book entitled “Book of Mouse Stories for Girls” made it worth the read of the other comments!

what’s with the closed comments on today’s teaser? do we have a superbowl commercial? and if so, why am I not in it?
