Emble is a dream app
We host a lot of events, ranging from small groups for coffee and mentoring to large networking events with hundreds of attendees. Like any other business, we also have meetings that require herding cats people and their complicated schedule.
If you want to please as many people as possible, it’s usually a delicate dance that ends in hair being torn out. This doesn’t happen when you use Emble, a new app that launched today in beta to help cure your hair-tearing-out.
It allows a host to suggest some ideas for the event (which we used to indicate location instead of event type), and dates, then putting it out allows people to vote, and other collaborators to suggest more dates or ideas. The comments section could be golden as well, and you can even collect funds if you’re doing a group event with a set price. They do require you to prove your identity if you collect over a certain amount of funds, and it isn’t a ticket sales system, rather a date/event/venue selection tool.
The design is so easy and streamlined, that anyone can figure it out, even someone who’s never been on the internet before. Easy. Seriously.

How to get Emble
The company finally entered their beta phase today, and they already have a waiting line.
On their blog, the write, “We’ll be sending out our first batch of invites very shortly, so keep an eye on your inbox. If you’re on the waiting list and don’t receive an invite today, don’t worry – we haven’t forgotten about you! We’re giving access to users in groups, so your turn will definitely come. Alternatively, you can find someone who’s managed to get in already and persuade them to invite you to one of their events, as this will get you in.”
There is also a wait list you can access.
