iPhone’s new Facebook app features timelines and friend management

Facebook Timeline goes mobile

Last week we reported that Facebook was rolling out the new Timeline feature to all users and praised the new updated Facebook app for Android that showcases the new Timeline feature.

Now, the rollout is fully complete as it has gone live as an iPhone update, with the same beauty and streamlined navigation as the Android app.

The Timeline feature on mobile starts with your unique cover photo and in October, we highlighted 50 examples with tips and best practices to help you select your own cover image.

On the new Facebook version 4.1 now available, users not only have access to the Timeline feature, they can access friend lists, subscribers and subscriptions, photos are easier to view, upload and comment on and overall, Facebook says the app is better and offers better performance.

If you have not activated the Timeline yet, it will need to be done from a non-mobile device. Version 4.1 is also available for iPod and iTouch with iPad coming soon.
