Scanning with your phone
CamScanner is a free Android app that turns your phone into a scanner to digitize any paper document through your camera from notes, newspaper articles and receipts to contracts or even whiteboards. The app offers cropping, image enhancement and the ability to create a PDF from your scanned files.
Also, with CamScanner, you can upload documents to the cloud (Dropbox, Google Docs, etc.) and manage them by tagging or searching. Organize your written notes, business cards, memos, and magazines in one place and take them with you anywhere. CamScanner offers batch scanning so multi-page documents are simple to scan and all documents can immediately be emailed or shared to the cloud.
The app can back up all of your files to your SD card so you can restore them any time and the app can condense file sizes of PDFs and other files if you wish.
CamScanner free version has advertisements, a watermark on the PDF and a limitation of 50 documents, 10 pages each while the CamScannerFull removes ads, watermarks and limits.
