HiLo tablet concept
Designer Roni Margolin has created a tablet concept called “The HiLo” which is a 10″ OLED Tablet weighing just over two pounds. The attractive feature of the HiLo is a wireless felt keyboard that doubles as the soft carrying case for the tablet.
“Naturally, you use the keyboard as desired, however I’m getting a kick out of the casual interaction between the protective jacket and the tablet,” said Yanko Design.
Our suspicion is that this concept won’t make it to market in its current form, but that this designer will ultimately be approached by one of the major tablet manufacturers to buy the idea of making soft carrying cases that are hot pressed with embedded circuitry.
Imagine an iPad with a case that doubles as a wireless keyboard- it puts the market one step closer to replacing laptops and computers with tablets as many are hoping for. The functionality would be helpful which is what makes this tablet concept innovative.

I think I can safely say, this will never see the light of day. It's too cute by half and clumsy at best. This guy is not even on the radar of the major tech journalists. They probably got a good laugh out of it though.
