Gravatar, the official face (your image in comments) provider of comments to WordPress and other web properties has profiles currently in alpha, and you’re the only one who can see it for the time being. The expectation is for you to spruce it up, fill in the gaps, for the upcoming beta release that will allow you to make your Gravatar profile public.
Currently the profile will allow you to add all of your web properties, join all of your identities together, or keep them separate, and also share your social networks and photos.
During this alpha to beta phase of Gravatar’s expansion, more for website operators will be forthcoming on how you can utilize Gravatar profiles within your own communities.
