Realtor reports a crime
A Realtor’s keen eye has a Wisconsin man in a heap of trouble. During a walk-through on April 26th of Matthew Schossow’s residence, a Realtor who was a former police officer, spotted marijuana plants and fluorescent lights inside of a closet. The Realtor called the police who found Schossow’s car with a pot-filled garbage bag. After the resident got into his car, he was pulled over and admitted to growing the plans for infrequent personal use.
Schossow has been charged with one felony count of manufacturing and delivering over 200 grams of THC and if convicted, he may face up to $10,000 in fines and up to 42 months in prison. Schossow is set to appear in Waukesha County Court on September 9th, 2011.
Schossow has been to court before, pleading guilty to going nearly 20mph over the speed limit and driving without a license in 2007, and going 70 mph in a 55 mph zone in 2010. He pled guilty to all three charges and paid his fines. It is unclear if he will plead guilty or innocent this time, as he has not faced felony charges before.
