A decade in icons:
This past decade has been quite interesting- the pace of technology has picked up to light speed and our brains have been rewired to look more like an iPhone than a brick cell phone while our culture has shifted not only politically but religiously along with many other ways. This “oh” decade (’09 = “OH9”) has connected and disconnected us in ways travel did in the last “oh” decade and our culture has changed accordingly.
Although nothing as cool as the Macarena happened this decade, it was historically a tumultuous time while technologically it was quite impressive. Take a minute to look at this chart outlining the decade in icons (click the image to enlarge) and tell us in comments what YOUR most memorable moment of the decade was!
