I’ve previously gone on and on and on about the awesomeness that is Dr. Mark Dotzour of the Texas A&M Real Estate Center and how he might be the only man in America with a crystal ball and a southern mouth (meaning he tells it like it is and doesn’t put lipstick on a pig).
It’s not often that his speeches are public, but below he talks about the state of the union and although some of it is based on Texas, it is an overall outlook for America and guess what, y’all? There’s some good news! So get your lunch sammich and watch this while you have an hour:

Lani – thanks for this – had not heard of the good Doctor before. I have several friends in Texas that think they’re bulletproof, this is awesome. And you described him to a “T.”

I think the Texas A&M Real Estate Center is one of our hidden gems. You know how issues of Tierra Grande I find in the trash at the office? I read everyone – cover to cover. I get a lot out of them, even when they’re talking about ranch land issues or Dallas construction.
