Who can argue with that?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Their online forms use an enterprise version of Typeform, and the electronic signatures are legally binding and witnessed. All submitted forms are also timestamped on the blockchain, for maximum security and “tamper proof” documents.<\/p>\n
With Emondo, companies also can capture leads from incomplete forms.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
According to the website, signing with Emondo is up to seven times more cost effective than with paper based applications, and up to fifty times faster. Whether or not those numbers are inflated, there’s no denying the practicality of online forms and electronic signatures.<\/p>\n
A brief history<\/h2>\n
On the Emondo website, a handy history of the electronic signature features prominently, in timeline form, beginning with 1954: \u201cA rubber stamp was recognised as legally binding signature.\u201d 1981 marks the (probable) first legal usage of the term \u201celectronic signature,\u201d and in 1995, the state of Utah introduced \u201cthe world\u2019s first electronic signature legislation.\u201d In 2000 the U.S. began regulating e-signatures on a federal level.<\/p>\n
