That is unless you have a Realtor\u00ae at your side providing expertise every step of the way.<\/p>\n<p>Per a press release, the National Association of Realtors is launching a new advertising campaign called \u201cMade For This.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>According to the campaign\u2019s message, the process of buying a home is a \u201ctreacherous journey\u201d with plenty of obstacles along the way.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Realtors bring things to the table that help buyers power through these obstacles and stay the course, such as \u201ca positive mental attitude, comprehensive knowledge and the healthy dose of \u2018yes we can.\u201d Those characteristics represent the \u201cunflinching optimism\u201d that realtors bring to the table, and that optimism is what gets buyers into their dream homes, no matter what it takes to get there.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><strong>Read also: <a href=\"https:\/\/therealdaily.com\/homeownership\/nar-ad\/\">NAR&#8217;s bold ad targeted at politicians<\/a><\/strong><\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-91813\" src=\"https:\/\/theamericangenius.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/bar.jpg\" alt=\"bar\" width=\"100\" height=\"19\" \/><br \/>\nThe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nar.realtor\/consumer-advertising-campaign\/materials\/television\" rel=\"nofollow\">campaign<\/a> features two longer spots (30 seconds apiece) along with four shorter spots (15 seconds each).<\/p>\n<p>The main takeaway? <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Sure, buying a home can feel a little daunting, but for REALTORS? We were made for this.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Onto the laughs<\/h2>\n<p>A big part of the campaign\u2019s optimistic tone comes from its camping sense of humor. We see this most prevalently in the longer spots.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cDestiny\u201d spot claims that homeownership is the roof under which many other American milestones reside, and that your \u201cdomestic destiny\u201d is \u201cas American as ditching the metric system.\u201d<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nar.realtor\/consumer-advertising-campaign\/materials\/television\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/theamericangenius.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Screen-Shot-2017-06-28-at-11.25.16-AM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"599\" height=\"335\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11702\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The other long ad, titled \u201cGive Us Your Tired,\u201d (below) plays on The New Colossus, the poem printed at the base of the Statue of Liberty. <\/p>\n<p><em>Also of note: Both longer ads reinforce the message that Realtors won\u2019t stop until you own a home, the clearest call backs to those themes we see in the whole campaign. When the ads are clever, they are really clever, and those who find more comfort in humor will very much enjoy this campaign.<\/p>\n<p>The campaign began its run on June 26 with a series of video ads.
