In a rural area, northeast of Bellingham, police were called in to investigate, with the woman confessing to have killed her husband and son who had been killed several days prior. The motive has not been released by law enforcement officials.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Whatcom county Sherrif&#8217;s Office, the realtor came by for a showing, found the bodies, and immediately contacted police. The woman suffered a gunshot to the chest, which is suspected to be self-inflicted, but not life threatening, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/king5.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">King 5 News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The incident is being investigated as a homicide.<\/p>\n<h2>Realtors often find unpleasant things in homes<\/h2>\n<p>Over the years, realtors have shared with us many of the unpleasant things they&#8217;ve found in homes from animal and insect infestations to marital aides, but finding dead bodies is far less common, and locating the killer still in the house is unheard of.<\/p>\n<p>Real estate professionals are on the front line, and while safety is a topic that is top of mind for professionals that hop into the car with perfect strangers, this type of scenario is not one that we can be prepared for.<\/p>\n<p>This realtor must be scarred and shaken, alongside the small community.
