Over the years, data has been a major money maker for cell phone carriers across the nation. With all the high overage fees, data contracts, and unused data being stolen every month, there\u2019s no wonder they are filthy rich, while us consumers scrape up change to pay our next bill. \nProject Fi, Google\u2019s newest program, delivers a fast, easy, and affordable wireless experience to its users, with the help of current leading carriers and hardware makers. <\/p>\n

They take the complexity out of choosing the right plan, by only offering one simple plan: unlimited text and talk, including international texts, and the ability to use your phone as a Wifi hotspot, for only $20 a month. Their data plan is even more attractive; it\u2019s only $10 per GB of data, no annual contract, and customers are refunded for any unused data. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Get money back for unused data!? YEP<\/h2>\n

So, lets say you pay $30 for 3GB of data, but don\u2019t use 1 GB, you will receive $10 back for the unused data; which is great for people like me who cant seem to make use of every single bit of data. <\/p>\n

If affordability, and data refunds, aren\u2019t convincing enough; the easy to read, non head ache inducing bill, live support around the clock, and coverage in over 120 countries, should definitely be convincing enough. <\/p>\n

Compatible devices include…<\/h2>\n

Initially, these awesome features were only available for phone devices, leaving out all the people who use data only tablets, and have a bundled plan to include both their tablets and phones. But with recent developments, Fi can be used on both, and what\u2019s even better is it cab be used for free! You obviously have to pay for how much data you want to use ($10 Per GB), but unlike every other carrier, there is no pesky monthly device charge. You will already have to have a Fi account, but if you purchase 30 GB of data, you are free to use your phone or tablet up to that 30 GB, without an additional device fee. <\/p>\n

Comaptible devices currently includes Nexus 7 and 9, Galaxy Tab S, Apple\u2019s ipad mini 4 and ipad air 2. And more devices should be included, along with more features, as development continues. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So if you are looking for yet another way to shave off some money from your phone bill, with the option of bundling devices, and pay as you use data, Project Fi may be the option for you.
