As we await poll results for the Nebraska and West Virginia primaries, the nation’s favorite distraction is drilling down exit polling and informal polling results. Locals are being asked who they prefer between one candidate versus another and what if so and so weren’t running, and do women prefer Candidate A or B, and what about a specific minority? <\/p>\n
So what about Realtors? As the most engaged practitioners gather at the National Association of Realtors (NAR) Legislative Meetings in Washington D.C. today, thousands were asked to anonymously text their choice between Donald Trump (A) or Hillary Clinton (B). <\/p>\n
Attendees were asked, “if the election for President were held today, and Donald Trump were the Republican Candidate, and Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Candidate, for whom would you vote?” <\/p>\n
The results were Trump 59 percent and Clinton 41 percent. Not a landslide, but certainly not a close race with this demographic.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
A CNN poll (April 28-May 1) indicates that given these two options, 54 percent prefer Clinton, while 41 percent prefer Trump. <\/p>\n
