Practically everywhere you look, you\u2019ll find dozens of apps that offer to help you create a to-do list. In fact, here at The Real Daily, we\u2019ve reported on multiple productivity apps<\/a>. If you\u2019re one of those who can create a to-do list, but find it difficult to prioritize your list, Samu might be the ap<\/a>p you need to get your act together.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s different about Samu?<\/h2>\n

In Samu, not only do you create a to-do list, but you assign dates and priorities to those tasks, which is a game changer in my opinion. Samu uses a platform based on the Eisenhower matrix. In this system, you decide which tasks have to be done by you, today. These are urgent tasks.<\/p>\n

Then, there are tasks which are important, but can be scheduled for later. Third, there are urgent tasks that aren\u2019t important.<\/p>\n

Ideally, these can be delegated because it isn\u2019t important that you do them. Tasks which are not urgent nor important can be eliminated.<\/p>\n

About Samu<\/h2>\n

On March 1, one of the Samu founders posted that it had 423 active users. The app doesn\u2019t seem to be available in the iPhone app store, it\u2019s a desktop app for now. There is a two-week free trial. I will say that I appreciated the fact that they didn\u2019t make me give them a credit card immediately. After the two weeks, it costs $50 for the entire year. It is a fairly new product, but I\u2019d like to say that it looks easy to use.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a minimal platform that won\u2019t take much time to get up and running.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I found the founder and CEO of Samu on LinkedIn. His name is Valentin Scholz and his location is in Austria. He has been quite active in the tech market, creating many different apps that increase productivity and help people connect.<\/p>\n

Give Samu<\/a> a try if you need help prioritizing your to-do list. The Eisenhower matrix works great for long-term planning and short-term daily goals. I think that Samu could benefit a lot<\/em> of people. You might learn more about yourself and improve your ability to delegate and drop the unimportant tasks in your day. Ultimately, that will help you be more productive than just getting through the to-do list.<\/p>\n
