I can’t believe I’m actually writing about Redfin…

But, I’ll break policy for this special occasion to have a little fun with the guys over at Redfin.  As you probably know already, Redfin CEO Glenn Kelman appeared on the Today show this week to speak with the famous-for-bossing-fat-chicks-around-on-The-View-not-for-journalism Meredith Viera who acted surprised that she shouldn’t overinflate the price of the home she’s selling (no crap?).  Brian Brady covered the finer points, but I wanted to make sure you saw the more subliminal portions of Kelman’s appearance…

FIRST, the segment began with the sponsor (OMG) for the segment (thank God for the rewind button on the DVR):

SECOND, we were absolutely floored that he said “we’re [just] computer scientists.”  Oh really?  Awesome- we’re just Realtors, so when we develop a semiconductor company (and say that all other semiconductor companies are crap), we hope you’ll take our word for how to create said semiconductors…

THIRD, Benn noticed that the Redfin segment was followed by gossip about Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.  I guess it’s good to get your junk knocked in the dirt by establishing your place on the totem pole- a notch between a sponsor competing directly with you and the gossip about a washed up crazy mofo.  Although they didn’t notice, I bet that was great for the Redfinnians’ confidence being just shy of a Tomcat sandwich!

Readers- did YOU notice anything funny about the interview?  I could go on, but it’s late and I’ll leave it up to you in the comments!
