Insync skyrockets your Gmail productivity

New feature for Gmail boosts efficiency

Instead of searching through all your emails to find the one with that much-needed attachment, there’s a better, easier way. A new Gmail feature, Insync, will allow you to automatically collect attachments in your email inbox and put them into your Google Drive account. This means you can easily access all of your sent and received attachments without searching through all your emails manually.

There are two basic ways to get your Gmail attachments to sync with Insync. The first requires you to manually add the @Drive label to each email that has a save-worthy attachment. You can do this as the emails come in or devote one day a week to go through all your recent emails and assign the label. Although, this can be just as tedious as searching for an attachment without Insync. The second option is to set up an automatic label to be applied to all incoming emails. However, this will pull and save all attachments from everyone, even if they are spam or a contact you’d prefer to ignore. Obviously, this can cause some security issues and might clutter up your Google Drive account.

If you prefer Dropbox to Google Drive, you’ll be happy to know that there are plans for Dropbox capability in the near future. Once it’s ready, all you’d have to do is label all applicable and relevant emails with attachment with @Dropbox. This gives you choices and make your work life a little more convenient.

Gmail’s new attachment syncing feature will do the tedious work for you, depending on the settings you choose. Once you have all your important attachments saved in one location, you can easily sort, search, and find the attachment you’re looking for. With all the time you’ll save not having to search for attachments, you can focus on your other everyday duties. Gmail’s Insync feature will streamline your daily tasks and get rid of the unnecessary tedium.
