Taking advantage of Facebook Timelines
This fall, Facebook announced their Timeline feature which transformed users’ activity feeds visually but also allowed for updates to be made in the past so your entire life’s timeline could be completed.
The MyPad app for Facebook has performed so well that the developers, Loytr, have launched another iPad app devoted to Facebook called “Timelines for Facebook” which allows you to browse through your friends’ timelines with the flick of a wrist, as if each profile was printed on a digital magazine page with page animation and everything!
Users can browse through profiles alphabetically or randomly and we see this app as a way of prompting yourself to learn more about the people you’ve added over the years and possibly reconnect with Facebook “friends,” because we all know that we are guilty of adding people in the early days or lazy days that we have since forgotten, or if their name came up in conversation you would have no idea who they are.
This is a beautiful way to achieve this and we encourage iPad users to download it, start flipping, and read each friend’s profile to catch up and even comment on their recent status update to potentially reconnect! Facebook friends aren’t always just high school buddies, they are past coworkers, people in your city, people you met at a conference and the like and earning referrals takes work, so get to flipping!
