Jifiti promises gifts delivered in 24 seconds flat
Jifiti is a new app launched to solve the problem of giving meaningless gifts, or gifts in the wrong size or color, with the app designed to scan and buy a gift in-store with their app, which instantly sends the recipient a notification on their mobile device which can be redeemed in any store instantly, modernizing the gift card gifting process and making it more social and meaningful.
The company describes the app as the solution to all of your “I really care about this person, but I don’t have much time to think about it, the party is on Sunday and we have that thing on Saturday and didn’t I get that for them last year?” scenarios.
The app has already teamed up with big box retailers like Lids, Sephora, Crate & Barrel, Old Navy, and more to make your gifts “legit,” as Jifiti describes it, adding, “The one-stop shop doesn’t really exists. The one-stop app does.”
While this app should be on all retailers’ mind, it will be watched by service providers getting clever with their thank you gifts (for new clients, repeat clients, etc.). An easily overlooked benefit is that gifters can contribute as a group, or in parts which could be teen parents’ answer to their kiddo in the store who is $12.55 short in buying their new favorite pair of shoes, or for teams looking to chip in on a gift for the boss. You get the idea.
Jifiti is not just for retail
Jifiti is great for retail, but has a social good component to it as well, as they match gifters with charities’ specific needs.
