How would you like a call like that? Well that’s almost what’s happening with my friend Jim Walberg of Caribbean Islands Realty.I’ve been coaching Jim on blogging and Internet marketing for the past five months and he is impressed:
In just the past five months of contracting the Internet Marketing services of John Harper our Caribbean Islands Realty firm has over 15 NEW marketing agreements with worldwide developers who are now using our services to market their resort and second home properties. All of this came from the power of blogging on the Internet! Oh my gosh, these guys are GREAT!
I love quotes like that, but even more, I love having fun with exciting projects and Jim’s Caribbean blog is just damn exciting. A few days ago he wrote about South Beach Belize, a new fractional ownership development, and the next day he was at the top of Google for the search term – south beach belize.
Jim’s site is drawing attention from developers all over the Caribbean like Aruba where over 2000 new units are in development. And it’s not just developers that are taking note of Caribbean Islands Realty, a week ago Jim was contacted by the London Financial Times because his site is carrying so much news on the booming fractional ownership opportunities in the islands.
Anyway, back to the Governor. Jim met Governor John deJongh at the Virgin Islands Charter League Boat Show back in November. He asked the Governor if he would wrtie a guest post for Caribbean Islands Realty blog as a way of inviting citizen input on the real estate and development in the Virgin Islands – and it looks like the Governor is going to do it.
Talk about a PR opportunity – we are going to have some fun!
