Upping the ante
We introduced you to blogging platform Jux last year and have shown many examples of how professionals are using the artistic site to boost their digital marketing efforts.
Until today, photo uploading options were limited to Flickr, Facebook and direct uploads, and given that the core of the platform is to share large images on a responsively designed site that fits your browser’s full screen, the implementation of any new import features is welcome.
Instagram, is extremely popular right now – it is an iPhone app that is well known for its filters (as pictured above) that give digital images a Polaroid or vintage flair, for which “the Jux team and 20 gabillion others are grateful,” Jux said in a blog statement.
Now, Jux has announced that they have added the ability to import Instagram photos, which Jux users can add to any post. The company notes, “In the case of photo and article posts, the layout will switch automatically to accomodate the smaller 612×612 Instagram photos (for those diehard quality-seekers, you’re still better off uploading from your camera roll where Instagram saves at 2048×2048 on the iPhone 4s).”
