The rent versus buy debate
As the rent versus buy pendulum swings and talking heads argue over which is better, the inarguable point is that nationally, apartment vacancies are going down, rents are going up and the word “boom” is entering traditional media vernacular yet again.
Is the next real estate “boom” (a word we hesitate to use) in buying up apartment buildings? Multifamily loan delinquencies continue to rise but that has not impacted the potential for those in the market to snap up properties.
