If you’re reading an amazing article on AG like this one you’re reading right now and suddenly the phone rings and you have to rush out of the office, if you’re using the Google Chrome browser and have an Android phone, with the new Chrome to Phone extension, you can add a button to your browser that in real time sends the current web page, YouTube video, or (bonus for Realtors) map to your selected phone number or text to your Android device running Froyo (or Android 2.2).
We can think of many endless reasons how this could be useful, especially with the Google mapping feature, but what intrigues us the most is the linking of your personal computer to your phone and the possiblities that it opens, especially in this fast paced world. The concept of sharing data is currently dominated by services like Evernote, but Google’s extension appears to me to streamline this process.
