MLS Fail Shots [Episode 3]

We have  a bumper crop of Fail Shots this week.  I’d like to thank all of you who kicked in and sent your images.  Hopefully in the coming weeks you’ll find your contribution, complete with recognition and a link to your blog.  Thank you again and keep them comin’!  Now, get a load of what is going on in the real estate world …

MLS Dungeon Fail

We’re not sure if this is the ceiling or the floor.  either way, I’m just seeing a chain to lower lotion in a basket to a sorority chic that was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

MLS “Rafters as a selling feature” Fail

Complimentary window stickers and bat guano, no extra charge.

MLS “Don’t Give a Crap” Fail

First, the home sellers must have not gotten the decluttering memo.  Then again, maybe in some sort of parallel universe piles of someone else’s crap is an uber sexy selling feature and this will sell in minutes.  Buyers must exclaim, “Wow, we can fill all of our crap here, too!”  The bathrooms must really be the shiz.

MLS “Cootie House” Fail

Meanwhile, back in the parallel universe, orange nicotine charred walls and carpets are the new black and sexier than hell.  Close your eyes, if you will, and imagine the delicious stank of stale smoke and Old Milwaukee’s Best.  Now peek out of your right eye and notice the sad, little, dollar store cherry re-noo-zit air freshener that has been awarded the task of making it all go away.  Ready for immediate occupancy.

Today’s visual train wreck has been brought to you by Matt Thomson.  Thanks a bunch, Matt!

Have you ever seen a picture in the MLS that just made you shake your head?  This is the place where the thought and the photo collide.  If you have a photo you’d like to share email to mailto:MLSfailpics@gmail.com.  We’ll make you famous and link to your blog.
