Mobile application for agents speeds up the contract process

Speeding up real estate transactions

President and CEO of International Realty Resource (IRR), Tyler Hollist was inspired to create Agent Aid, a mobile electronic contracting application when his first time buyer sister was blindsided by missing nearly an entire day of work because of the length of time it took to submit an offer through their real estate agent.

This inspiration served as the founding of IRR who says their mission is to deliver innovative real estate applications that enable agents, buyers, sellers, investors, inspectors, and appraisers to ease and speed real estate transactions with a focus on Apple products and mobility. Their first app, Agent Aid serves to help agents remain mobile, and for buyers to buy during the peak of their buying moment.

Since the launch of the iPad, iPod Touch, iPad app, they have seen adoption not only in America, but in Canada, Spain, Australia, the UK, Italy, Singapore, China, Mexico, and Russia.

The app allows users to import contract forms via Dropbox, Email, iTunes, and good ol’ fashioned WiFi. Users create a form template once, and then fill out and sign the forms for each new deal, then completed contracts can be printed, emailed, or sent through Dropbox. The first form is free, and importing of additional forms is $4.99 each and can be used as often and for as long as needed without incurring additional charges.

The company says, “Agent Aid differs in important ways from its competitors,” adding that “most exciting for our customers is the pricing model. Not every agent is selling a home every month, particularly in this depressed real estate market. Agent Aid only requires that a contract be purchased once (at a price of $4.99) and then can be used as often as needed without any additional charge. Our competitor charges an average monthly fee of $14.99 or more whether an agent sells a home or not. Another difference is in Agent Aid’s simplicity and efficiency.”
