The above story is one of a kind, just like your Realtor story, according to David Winans of Better Homes and Gardens in Dallas, Texas. In soft launch, MyAgentStory.com has launched and has opened their doors to all agents across America in an effort to give real estate professionals a chance to tell their unique stories.
When we first learned about the project last month, we watched every single video in the series, not because we set out to but because we laughed so much we kept clicking on other stories. They involve barf, cats, babies, running, birth control and the classic “when are you due?” fumble.
Winans who is behind the story said, “Seriously… there are a million agents, so there are a million stories.” While the site does have a banner ad for his brokerage, the rest remains unbranded, so it’s a fun, neutral place for agents to tell their stories and Mark McDonough, VP of Marketing and Business Development at Winans and Associates told us that coming soon, they “do plan on creating a video that we’ll send out asking for and explaining how to post your own video.”
What a great project for agents to share their crazy stories so not only do you all know that you’re not alone in fumbles or finding naked people in listings, but to share your own horrific or awesome stories. We warn you in advance, the site has not officially launched, but with the amount of videos already on the site, it is a huge, addictive time suck.
