There are a few messages that we’ve repeated over the years at AGBeat. First, all real estate is local. We write mostly about national issues with the belief that each street differs from the next. Secondly, we have been emphasizing the shifting value proposition of Realtors from keepers of the MLS to negotiators and marketers. Thirdly (among many others we’ll spare you today), there is no universal success method in real estate, especially if it’s all 1.0 or all 2.0.
Today, we came across a new 1000Watt product called How’sTheMarket as hinted at in the video above.
Brian Boero of 1000Watt Consulting said, “In 2006 it was going to be blogging. In 2008 it was social networking. In 2010 it was location-based services. And for some, those things do work. But most remain adrift in a sea of conflicting currents. So we’re starting with the idea that those who have valuable knowlege could use a better way to leverage it to grow their business.”
We strive to bring you in depth national information and we really like that the mystery app will focus on hyperlocal information and empower the Realtor. We enjoy that the Realtor in the video above is proud to be a Realtor and wears his pin with a smile, just as you should have pride in your chosen career path.
