Hogwarts’ animated newspapers to become reality? YES!
One of my favorite TED Talks of the last year is Pranav Mistry who spoke at TEDIndia about technologies that “that help the physical world interact with the world of data” ranging from the simple mouse ball technology that he used to create a glove that told his computer what his hand was doing, all the way to a neck-worn computer/projector that turns even a basic piece of paper into a laptop. Unlike most futuristic innovations, this technology is simple and only costs a few hundred dollars. I’m absolutely astonished.
Pranav said he’ll be open-sourcing the software behind Sixth Sense which could potentially obsolete the iPhone, laptops, computers, televisions and more. This is extremely interesting and for everyone who likes to talk about “game changers,” this is the first actual “game changer” that I’ve seen in years.
