We know that many agents do their own photography and that’s fine but we believe that like some indie brokers do, listing photography should be included in an agent’s split. Otherwise, no matter the price of the home, it still deserves to be marketed in the best light (otherwise your client would have contracted with someone else, right?). There is nothing wrong with DIY, some agents are very talented, but even as we seek out professional photographers to spotlight, there is barely enough actual talent to share.
Today, Nasbe is featured because of his attention to detail, his strong post-processing skills, his ability to capture architecture and interiors alike (whereas many only perform well in one category), and he is profiled because the framing, balance, color and cropping of his pictures make sense whereas much of his competition looks like it was shot by a teenager with a cell phone. Even winter looks appealing in his shots and I’m a Southerner!
