HelloFax is still free for the first twenty pages, we don’t know when it will go to a standard pay version, but we suspect it will be more reasonably priced than a Kinko’s, based on our experience with other YCombinator projects.
So with HelloFax, you can upload a file, enter the destination fax number or email, sign it and hit send and voila, you’re done! No scanners, no eFax number you’ve been assigned to memorize, nada.
We really like this idea for the less tech savvy consumers who are on the go- your Dallas client happens to be in Key West and they can’t figure much out other than how to open an email, so HelloFax is a pretty simple solution.
Here’s how it works (it’s super simple):
Upload, hit send and you’re done. It’s not the only alternative on the market, and for real estate, electronic signatures are technically superior, but some agents and some consumers just won’t catch on, so HelloFax is superior to the crummy ol’ fax machine.
