The best kind of Facebook cover is custom
As a business professional, most of your time on Facebook is likely related to networking and promoting your brand, so why not make sure your profile picture and cover photo (the large image now topping your page or profile) that are custom and branded to your company? It’s a missed opportunity to not do so, honestly.
If you’re not tech savvy, or you don’t own Photoshop, there are non-custom Facebook cover photos available for download, so don’t worry – you don’t have to have a boring or ugly picture!
Custom Photoshop template for Facebook cover photos
This spring, Facebook made some changes to the sizes of images required for cover photos and profile pictures, rendering custom cover photos previously designed defunct, so we offered a Photoshop template for the new profile image sizes, but some were still stuck.
In the image above, you can see one of our favorite cover photos of all time, designed by Ben Goheen in Stillwater, Minnesota. It’s funny, it’s clever, and Goheen said he created it with the help of the following video:
