Social networking follows
With the useful site FullyFollow.me, users can sign up for a free account that “lets you connect your social profiles into one,
and be followed across all of them with a single click,” according to the website.
Although FullyFollow.me doesn’t have a blog or an about page, they are on Facebook where we found one user that shared their profile on the page so we can see an example (click here to see it).
We have shared tools with you like Flavors.me that allow you to pull all of your social networks into one customizable landing page, but FullyFollow.me’s advantage is that one button allows users to follow them all.
Currently, we see Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn as available options for users to give permissions to for follow access for their profile.
Although we think the service has potential, it is a far cry from “all of your social networks” as it claims. Granted, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn are the three most common social networks in America, but what about Del.icio.us, Blogger, Reddit, Digg, Google Profiles, Google Places, the ability to feature a Facebook page, Instapaper, Posterous, Tumblr, Typepad, Squidoo and even the dying MySpace?
There are hundreds of locations for profiles, so it is not exactly a service that links “all of your social networks” as promised, but it is still useful and has potential.
We hope that the site offers customization at some point like the ability to brand the background or change the font, but for now it’s a good start for people to point their networks to as a unified social networking front. We look forward to seeing if it makes improvements and lives up to its promise!
