We can all be a bit scatter-brained
How many times have you been out to lunch and walked off without your wallet, keys, sunglasses, or other personal items? At least once, right? I lose my keys often. It doesn’t matter how many times I remind myself to put them back by the door, I nearly always forget and then the scramble begins in the morning to find them.
Track your wallet and (more importantly) what’s inside
While there are several trackers available for your keys, the makers of Walli have created something even better. Walli is the world’s first intelligent wallet that not only keeps tabs on your wallet, but also the contents of your wallet and other valuables as well. Walli is still in beta, but will have the ability to monitor its three credit card slots, three business card slots, passport slot, cash pocket, and boarding pass pocket.
Never leave your card at the bar again
The monitoring occurs through Walli’s smartphone app and uses Bluetooth 4.0 to continually monitor the status of your Walli. As soon as your wallet is out of range of your phone, you’ll receive a message that you’ve left your Walli behind. If you’ve left your phone behind, you can double tap on your Walli and the phone will ring.
If that’s not enough, Walli will tell you when you’ve left something that’s supposed to be inside your wallet behind as well. The patent-pending technology is called SecurePockets and helps Walli to “see” what is supposed to be inside. If anything goes missing you will receive and alert.
You choose when it’s officially “missing”
If you’re worried about getting an alert every time you take your card out to pay, Walli is one step ahead. From the Walli app, you can configure how much time should pass before you’re alerted of the missing item. If you set the time for a few minutes, this prevents you from walking off without the card, but also from getting alerts every time you use the card, but it is yet to be “missing.”
6 month battery life
Walli is RFID protected and never requires charging. Instead, it has a button battery that last approximately six months before it needs to be swapped out. Walli is also set to introduce a key finder that you can attach to anything valuable and it will send a notification on your phone when you leave it behind. Plus, it has a build in buzzer which can be triggered though your smartphone to help you locate it.
Apparently I’m not the only person constantly and consistently losing my possessions. If you are among those of us who misplace things, Walli is definitely worth a look.
