Free mobile video conferencing
Today it was announced that fring is offering a new beta program for four way video conferencing. We’ve tested it and we love it! No learning curve or tech know-how is required.
Rather than use a pay-per-minute video conferencing tool or a video chat that requires your laptop, allow yourself and your clients to be on the go and video chat from anywhere for free. The fring application offers voIP calls so you don’t use your minutes (works best when you can connect to wifi), two way video calling or four way video calling.

The caveat is that the video calling is only between Fring users, but it’s really easy to set up and pretty self explanatory to use, even more so than Skype in our opinion.
Real estate uses
We can think of a lot of reasons for Realtors to get in on using fring, but here are just a few:
- Team members that can’t make the team meeting can now be video conferenced in with no learning curve for set up.
- You’re taking a client out to look at homes and the husband gets caught at the office and the mother in law is anxious about getting involved. Just fring everyone in as you approach the houses and let everyone take the tour with you to cut down on trips.
- You’re in someone else’s listing and want to show your current listing client a feature you’d like them to add, just fring them to skip the email back and forth and video conference about it.
- You can’t make it to a conference, so you send your team member in your place. Use fring to attend meetings or to virtually meet vendors that could help your business. We’d love to see fring used on convention floors more!
- Hold “stump the Realtor” q&a times every Friday night and let anyone on fring join in. It’s like a coffee date for everyone but no one has to drive.
